Innovative Lighting Maintenance
Skipper Building, Clerkenwell Rd
IntelliCasa was called to update the specialist lighting system in the Skipper Building, located at 83 Clerkenwell Rd, London EC1R 5AB.
Having failed an annual emergency lighting test, the Skipper Building asked our engineers to help. We installed and programmed 8 new drivers for the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) lighting system along with new light fittings.
DALI uses a digital, two-wire bus to send commands to individual LED drivers, allowing for precise control of brightness, color, and on/off states for each fixture. These drivers, which are connected to the light source, have a unique address for communication with a DALI controller, enabling features like scene setting, grouping, and real-time status feedback.
