Intellicasa is thrilled to have designed and integrated the most Crestron-based technologically advanced wine shop in Bergerac, France (Smart Audio Visual) - Les Vignoble des Verdots. This prestigious wine shop spans over 700 square meters and includes a modern open entrance, a wide wooden counter desk for wine tasting, a space with tables and chairs for eating and drinking, and dedicated areas for merchandise display. However, this isn't just any wine boutique - our challenge was to create a space that would also serve as an important venue for international events and gatherings.
Our team at Intellicasa worked tirelessly to create a seamless and user-friendly solution for our client using Crestron technology. We integrated the latest technologies to make the visitor experience immersive and unforgettable. Our state-of-the-art solution includes a Crestron touch panel that can wirelessly control six cascaded TV screens, Crestron surround system speakers, and background noise-cancelling microphones - allowing seamless presentations with a single touch of a button.
Upon entering Les Verdots, visitors are welcomed to register through two latest generation iPads, mounted on a bespoke designed enclosure and stand in a sleek black finish. The visitors can easily register, purchase wine, and then head directly to the counter to pick up their gifts. The large Samsung SMART TV set-up is a sight to behold, featuring four cascaded 65-inch screens, which make Les Verdots feel like one of the most technologically advanced wine shops ever. The screens can be combined into one or four divisions, display information about where visitors are, the wine they are about to drink, and show high-definition pictures and videos of anything related to the vineyards.
The Crestron pendant speakers further enhance the experience of coming to Les Verdots by producing the highest quality sound, perfectly balanced throughout the hall. This creates an atmosphere of relaxation, perfect for a wine-tasting experience.
At Les Verdots, we have taken presentations to a whole new level. Chunky, old-school remotes and low-quality resolution images are a thing of the past. We have made it possible through Crestron technology for presentations to be hands-free, with microphones clipping onto the presenter and communicating with the rest of the system. The SMART TVs can be set to keynote mode to show a custom slideshow or video while the presentation is going on. This combined with the top-notch Crestron speakers make Les Verdots feel like a theatre production. The Hudley SMART camera which is controlled by Crestron, tracks the person it focuses on, auto zooms, focuses, and pans, allowing the presenter to be fully hands-free while presenting.
In addition to the stunning audio-visual setup, Intellicasa also installed a sophisticated control system that manages all the technology within the wine shop. The Crestron control system allows the staff to easily manage all the audio and visual elements from one central location. This means that they can change the music, switch between presentations, and adjust the volume of the sound system with just a few taps on the screen.
Moreover, the control system also helps the staff to keep an eye on the security of the shop. The security cameras are integrated into the Crestron system, allowing the staff to monitor the entire shop from one central location. This not only helps to prevent theft and other security breaches but also provides peace of mind to the staff and the customers.
This project presented unique challenges in terms of remote location and products shortage. We had to put together a comprehensive, hands-free solution, integrating kits from multiple components: Crestron, Lenovo, Scarlet, and Yodeck. Despite these challenges, we delivered the client the most user-friendly and high-tech installation, smooth, and with a clean finish, which truly makes Les Verdots boutique stand out in the area.
